Project details

Our journey with Ausgrid began with developing a comprehensive design and procurement strategy to deliver Ausgrid Headquarters in Roden Cutler House, also home to a 6-floor electrical substation. This strategy was crafted in close collaboration with WINIM Development Managers, Ausgrid Property, and other key stakeholders, ensuring a strategic alignment with Ausgrid’s overarching objectives.

The collaboration extended to Ausgrid’s base building developer, with whom we worked closely to establish a robust project procurement strategy for the base building upgrade works. This holistic approach ensured the seamless integration of all project components. 4PM Projects was steadfast in driving sustainability targets, aiming for a 4.5 Star NABERS rating and a 5 Star Green Star fit-out rating for the fit-out works.

This ambitious goal was achieved, reflecting our dedication to sustainable project management. Additionally, our scope encompassed the delivery of both an end-of-trip facility and a ground floor café, adding convenience and value to the premises.

Our role

In December 2017, 4PM Projects took on the role of independent Project Manager for Ausgrid’s relocation project to Roden Cutler House.

This ambitious undertaking encompassed fit-out works, base building upgrades, and various sustainability initiatives and established Ausgrid’s emPower principles, which have become the benchmark across their property portfolio.

Outcomes

Our ability to navigate complex projects, develop strategic approaches, and drive sustainability initiatives contributed to achieving key objectives.

This case study exemplifies our capacity to facilitate seamless transitions for organisations while enhancing the sustainability and functionality of their new spaces.
